More than a thousand volunteers have mobilized to help residents stranded by flash floods in Central Texas, which destroyed a bridge over Sandy Creek. Initially gathering 100 volunteers, Jennee Lamberton saw numbers surge as people rushed to provide food, supplies, and medical support. The relief operation will be taken over by the Austin Disaster Relief Network tomorrow to ensure ongoing aid.
