Drunk driver in Delhi runs over five homeless people, including a child, killing them.

In southwest Delhi, a drunk driver, Utsav Shekhar, ran over five people sleeping on a footpath near Vasant Vihar at 1:45 am on July 9. The victims, all from Rajasthan, included an eight-year-old girl and two couples. The driver, identified and arrested at the scene, was confirmed to be under the influence of alcohol. The injured were taken to hospitals for treatment, and legal action has been initiated against Shekhar.
