Former Johnson City police officer Connor Cooper has been indicted on charges of official misconduct and tampering with records after allegedly turning off his body camera and cruiser camera during a vehicle pursuit in April 2024, and instructing a trainee to do the same.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation launched the probe after concerns were raised about his actions.
Cooper turned himself in and was released on a $3,000 bond.
