Pakistan seeks $1 billion for NYC’s Roosevelt Hotel, aiming to redevelop it into a mixed-use complex.
Pakistan is seeking a $1 billion valuation for the Roosevelt Hotel in New York and plans to offer a minority stake in the property to attract a redevelopment partner.
The over 1,000-room hotel, owned by Pakistan International Airlines and closed since 2020 due to losses, is set to be redeveloped into a mixed-use complex with offices and residences.
The process, managed by Jones Lang LaSalle, aims to close within six to nine months, with redevelopment expected to take four to five years.
This initiative is part of Pakistan’s $7 billion privatization drive supported by the IMF.
