Gregory Twigg, 32, is on trial for the murder of Iraq War veteran Lee Woodward, who died 10 months after being punched by Twigg in a street attack in Stoke-on-Trent. Woodward, 39, was left brain-damaged and died from complications. Twigg previously pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm with intent and was jailed for eight years and three months. The jury has retired to consider if he intended to cause serious harm or is guilty of manslaughter.
