Thirty-one workers were rescued after a tunnel collapse in Los Angeles with no major injuries.

On July 10, 2025, 31 construction workers were safely rescued after a partial tunnel collapse in Los Angeles. The collapse occurred approximately 400 feet underground during the construction of a wastewater tunnel. Workers were hoisted to the surface by a crane, with no major injuries reported. The cause of the collapse is under investigation.
