Polish tennis star Iga Swiatek reaches Wimbledon semifinal, achieving a career milestone.

Iga Swiatek of Poland reached her first Wimbledon semifinal, defeating Liudmila Samsonova 6-2, 7-5. This achievement makes Swiatek the first Polish woman to reach the Wimbledon semifinals since Agnieszka Radwanska in 2015. Swiatek will face Belinda Bencic in the next round.
