Jammu and Kashmir's Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, stated that the region's tourism is recovering after a terror attack in Pahalgam that killed 26 people. Abdullah highlighted a rise in direct flights and the ongoing Amarnath Yatra as positive indicators. He assured that safety measures are in place for tourists. Abdullah also thanked West Bengal's Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, for support and discussed enhancing cooperation between the two regions in industry and tourism.
