Indian police arrest 'Chhangur Baba' for coercing conversions to Islam and money laundering.

Uttar Pradesh police have arrested Jamaluddin alias Chhangur Baba and his associate Neetu alias Nasreen for allegedly running a large-scale religious conversion racket. Chhangur Baba is accused of coercing women into converting to Islam using financial incentives and was found to have amassed Rs 106 crore across 40 bank accounts, mainly funded from the Middle East. The Enforcement Directorate has launched a money laundering investigation into his financial network. Authorities have also demolished several properties linked to the gang, including a mansion built on illegally acquired land.
