Reward for information on Capitol Hill shooting that killed intern raises to $40,000.
D.C. Police and the FBI have increased a reward to $40,000 for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Capitol Hill intern Eric Tarpinian-Jachym on June 30.
Tarpinian-Jachym, a student from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, was not the intended target when multiple suspects opened fire near the intersection of 7th and M streets NW, also injuring a woman and a 16-year-old boy.
