A man was attacked by an escaped zoo lion in southern Turkey, suffering head and limb injuries.

A 53-year-old man in southern Turkey was seriously injured after being attacked by an escaped lion named Zeus from the Land of Lions zoo in Manavgat. The man was sleeping outdoors when the lion attacked, causing injuries to his head, shoulder, and legs. Authorities later shot the lion after locating it in a nearby wooded area. The zoo, known for housing over 30 lions, did not comment on how the escape occurred. An investigation is ongoing.
