St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival opens with "Much Ado About Nothing" and a new Sherlock Holmes play on July 18.

The St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival in Prescott, Ontario, kicks off its 23rd season on July 18 with two productions: "Much Ado About Nothing," set in 1980s Ontario, and the premiere of "Sherlock Holmes and the Vanishing Hour," featuring Sherlock solving a mystery on the St. Lawrence River. Performances run until August 9, followed by "Play On! A Shakespeare Inspired Mixtape" from August 12 to 16.
