Former Nigerian deputy speaker Emeka Ihedioha joins new ADC party, leaving his previous PDP affiliation.

Former Nigerian deputy speaker and governor, Emeka Ihedioha, has joined the newly launched African Democratic Congress (ADC) party. Ihedioha, who left his previous party, PDP, in April last year, announced his decision during a meeting with Rebuild Imo Movement (RIM) leaders. He urged his supporters to build ADC into a grassroots-focused party and thanked them for their patience during his transition.
