Three-year-old Theo Tuikubulau died from sepsis after being misdiagnosed with an ear infection.

The mother of three-year-old Theo Tuikubulau felt "fobbed off" by doctors after he was discharged from Plymouth's Derriford Hospital. Initially thought to have an ear infection, Theo was sent home but returned with suspected meningitis and died from sepsis. Consultant paediatrician Dr. Andy Robinson confirmed sepsis as the cause of death. The inquest into his death continues.
