Blanca Lopez, a Hispanic woman from Irving, Texas, was offended after finding a message written on her Starbucks drink lid that read, "What do you call a sick eagle? Illegal." The incident occurred on June 23rd at a Starbucks inside a Target store. Lopez felt the message was a derogatory reference to her background. She reported the incident to the store manager, who promised a team meeting to prevent future occurrences, but Lopez demanded the barista be fired.
