Kuala Lumpur's Aerotrain, suspended for 28 months, resumes service with upgraded, faster trains.
Kuala Lumpur International Airport's (KLIA) Aerotrain, which has been suspended for nearly 28 months, will resume operations on July 1, 2025.
The RM456 million overhaul includes new three-car driverless trains that can transport up to 270 passengers at 56 km/h, reducing travel time between the main terminal and satellite building to under three minutes.
The upgrade aims to improve connectivity for the more than 100,000 daily passengers at KLIA T1.
