Dubai launches program to increase Emirati involvement in real estate, licensing over 230 new firms.

The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has launched the 'Dubai Real Estate Broker Programme' to boost Emirati participation in real estate. The initiative has seen over 231 new brokerage firms and facilitated transactions worth over AED 500 million. DLD aims to have Emiratis make up 15% of real estate brokers within three years. The programme offers specialized training and includes plans for an incentive points system for firms that hire Emiratis.
