Pedestrian seriously injured in car collision in Donemark, Cork; police seek witnesses.

A 30-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured in a late-night car collision in Donemark, Bantry, Cork, around 3 AM on Saturday. The pedestrian was taken to Cork University Hospital, while the 20-year-old driver did not need medical attention. The road was briefly closed for investigation but has since reopened. Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with camera footage from the area between 2:30 AM and 3 AM to come forward.
