Survey reveals most engaged couples are open about finances, yet many delay weddings to save money.

SoFi's 2024 survey of 450 couples living together and planning to marry within three years shows that 75% are comfortable discussing finances, and 83% disclose their debt. While 28% share a joint bank account, 14% consider a prenup, and nearly 1 in 5 couples have postponed their wedding to save money. Despite financial transparency, disagreements over money and concerns about expenses and saving remain common.
