Governor Walz reports legislators and their spouses shot in Minnesota; armed suspect in police disguise at large.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz reported targeted shootings of legislators in Champlin and Brooklyn Park, including Senator John Hoffman and Representative Melissa Hortman and their spouses. A suspect, dressed as a police officer, remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous. A shelter-in-place alert is in effect for a 3-mile radius around Edinburgh Golf Course in Brooklyn Park. The State Emergency Operations Center has been activated to support local law enforcement.
