Goa's Chief Minister extends ban on Ola and Uber, pledges consultations with stakeholders.

Goa's Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has announced that cab aggregators such as Ola and Uber will remain banned in the state. This decision comes after coastal MLAs and taxi operators urged the government to establish a fair taxi fare system and to hold off on implementing new guidelines for transport aggregators until local taxi services are improved. Sawant assured that all stakeholders would be consulted before any final decisions are made.
