A report from The Athletic claims that former Los Angeles Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs was supplied prescription drugs by his former teammate, Wade Miley, since 2013. This allegation is part of a wrongful death lawsuit filed by Skaggs' family against the Angels, accusing top team officials of knowing about the drug supply from former communications director Eric Kay, who is now serving a 22-year sentence for his role in Skaggs' 2019 overdose death. Miley, now with the Cincinnati Reds, has not been charged with a crime.
