Two elderly women plead guilty to stealing from a Donegal supermarket, case adjourned to 2026.
Two women, Patricia Sweeney and Bernadette McGahern, both in their 60s and previously without convictions, have pleaded guilty to stealing a substantial sum of money and goods from a supermarket in Co Donegal between January and March 2019.
They admitted the thefts at Letterkenny Circuit Court, with the exact amounts undisclosed.
The case has been adjourned to January 2026, and a Probation and Welfare report is being requested to assess community service suitability.
