Pope Leo XIV will canonize Carlo Acutis, the first millennial Catholic saint, on September 7. Acutis, an Italian teen who died of leukemia at 15 in 2006, created a website about eucharistic miracles. His tomb in Assisi has become a pilgrimage site. He will be canonized alongside Pier Giorgio Frassati, another young Italian Catholic. Acutis is credited with two miracles: the healing of a Brazilian boy with a pancreatic defect and the recovery of a Costa Rican woman from a bicycle accident.
