Phoenix selects three finalists for its next police chief, set for public forum on June 16.
Phoenix has named three finalists for its permanent police chief: Malik Aziz, the Chief of Prince George's County Police; Mirtha Ramos, Chief of DeKalb County Police in Georgia; and Matthew Giordano, Executive Director of Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training.
All have extensive experience and will participate in a public forum on June 16.
The new chief is expected to be announced in July.
