An inquest revealed that 24-year-old Irish jockey Michael O'Sullivan died from severe brain injuries sustained in a fall at Thurles Racecourse. O'Sullivan, a Cheltenham festival winner, was airlifted to the hospital after the accident on February 6th and passed away ten days later. The cause of death included traumatic brain injury, swelling, and cerebral infarction. The inquest was adjourned for further investigation.
