Despite a pledge to end child labor by 2025, a UN report reveals that 138 million children are still working globally, with 54 million in hazardous conditions. The International Labour Organization (ILO) and UNICEF state that though there has been progress, reducing child labor requires increased investment in social protection, quality education, and decent work for adults. Agriculture remains the largest sector for child labor.
