Delhi’s CM assures city is ready to prevent floods, having removed tons of silt from drains.

Delhi's Chief Minister, Rekha Gupta, assured residents the city is prepared to avoid a flood situation this year, following the severe floods in 2023. She highlighted the government's efforts, including the desilting of major drains and barrages, with around 20 lakh metric tons of silt removed. CM Gupta chaired a meeting to review these flood prevention measures, aiming to ensure safety during the monsoon season.
