Ghana's exam bodies warn against cheating in the upcoming BECE, with stricter rules and harsher penalties.
The Ghana Education Service (GES) and the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) are warning against cheating in the upcoming 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) from June 11 to 18.
With 603,328 candidates expected to participate, the GES and WAEC have introduced stricter rules and emphasized severe consequences for any form of malpractice, including the dismissal of invigilators and supervisors.
WAEC has also marked Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo regions as hotspots for exam malpractice, calling for enhanced supervision and compliance.
