Osaka Expo has temporarily suspended its daily fountain shows and shallow pool area after detecting high levels of legionella bacteria, up to 20 times the legal limit. The Water Plaza and Forest of Tranquility areas have been closed for cleaning. This follows previous issues with midges and methane gas. Organizers are taking anti-bacterial measures and aim to reopen after health authorities' approval. The Expo, involving over 160 countries, expects 28 million visitors by mid-October.
