Birla Opus Paints, part of the Birla Group, has accused Asian Paints, India's largest paint manufacturer, of abusing its dominant market position. Allegations include threatening dealers with reduced credit and contract withdrawal if they work with Birla Opus, and delaying supplies and restricting tinting machines. The Competition Commission of India is expected to investigate these claims.
