Laurie Hunt, a 62-year-old woman from Rockland, was arrested on June 6 after a slow-speed chase where she drove erratically and nearly caused head-on collisions. The chase ended when Hunt hit a parked vehicle. She is facing charges including operating under the influence (OUI), failure to stop for police, and driving to endanger. This marks her second OUI arrest this year. The Rockland police highlighted the dangers of impaired driving, noting 27 OUI arrests in the year.
