Katy O'Keeffe, a director at Essex-based medical tech company Europlaz, has been honored as "Exemplar" at The Manufacturer magazine's Top 100 competition. The recognition highlights her contributions to neonatal care innovations, including a respiratory function monitor and a neonatal flow sensor with a CO2 sampling port, which assist in accurate lung monitoring. The competition aims to promote manufacturing and inspire young people to pursue engineering and manufacturing careers.
