In West Hartford, a pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run incident early Saturday morning around 2 a.m. on South Main Street. The driver fled the scene, and the pedestrian was taken to a hospital. Police are investigating and requesting any information. In a separate incident, East Hartford police are searching for a driver who struck a police cruiser on Silver Lane and fled; the officer was not harmed.
