A 25-year-old man, Nakia Wayne Douglas, was arrested in Birmingham for attempted murder following a stabbing incident that left the victim with life-threatening injuries. The victim was taken to UAB Hospital, while Douglas was identified through witness statements and arrested without incident. He is currently held in Jefferson County Jail on a $60,000 bond.
