Two local libraries launch "Level Up at Your Library" programs to prevent summer reading loss in youth.
The Pine River Public Library and the Great River Regional Library (GRRL) are both launching summer reading programs called "Level Up at Your Library."
These programs, aimed at children aged 18 and under, offer activities like comic writing, Lego challenges, and STEM bins to prevent summer reading loss and provide educational enrichment.
GRRL’s program runs from June 8 to August 9, while Pine River’s started on June 2.
Both encourage participation through rewards and events.
