A major insurance fraud scandal worth over 100 crore rupees has been uncovered in Sambhal district, Uttar Pradesh, involving fake policies, documents, and even murders to claim insurance money.
52 people have been arrested, and around 50 accused are still on the run.
The scam, which has connections to at least 12 states, has led to 17 FIRs, including four for murder.
The Enforcement Directorate is investigating the case, seeking related documents and FIR copies from local police.
