China's Ministry of Finance issued 12.5 billion yuan (about 1.74 billion USD) in treasury bonds in Hong Kong, marking the third batch of this year.
The issuance includes various maturities: 3.5 billion yuan in two-year bonds, 3 billion yuan in three-year bonds, 3 billion yuan in five-year bonds, and 3 billion yuan in 10-year bonds, with interest rates from 1.49% to 1.75%.
The issuance was well-received, with bids totaling 3.96 times the amount of bonds.
The Ministry plans to issue six batches totaling 68 billion yuan this year.
