Upstate New York town official John Reilly III pleaded not guilty to charges including attempted murder after shooting a DoorDash driver on his property. Prosecutors say the shooting was unprovoked, but Reilly's lawyer claims he was defending his family. The driver, who was lost with a dead cellphone, was shot in the back and seriously injured. Reilly also faces weapons charges after illegally possessing eight guns, including the one used in the shooting.
