During the Dragon Boat Festival in China from May 31 to June 2, there was a 10.8% increase in inter-regional trips, with over 230.97 million trips made on the first day. Road travel saw the biggest surge, followed by rail and waterway travel. The festival featured dragon boat races, Zongzi making, and cultural events, attracting both local and international tourists. Shanghai and Beijing reported significant increases in tourist visits and revenue, with Beijing hosting over 1,700 cultural events.
