ATF and LPG prices drop in India and Pakistan, easing costs for airlines, hotels, and households.
In India, aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices have dropped by 3%, or ₹2,414.25 per kilolitre, to ₹83,072.55 per kl, marking the third consecutive monthly reduction due to lower international oil and gas prices.
This reduction will ease costs for airlines, where fuel accounts for about 40% of expenses.
Commercial LPG rates also fell by ₹24 per 19-kg cylinder, providing relief to hotels and restaurants.
In Pakistan, LPG prices for June were reduced by Rs54.60 per cylinder, benefiting households.
Both countries' price adjustments reflect global oil price declines.
