flag Man shot dead by deputy after threatening officers with what was later found to be a BB gun.

Michael Anthony Koch, 41, was shot and killed by a deputy in Calhoun County after he threatened to harm officers responding to his family's 911 call. Koch had texted he would shoot any officers arriving at his home. When deputies ordered him to come out, he pointed what appeared to be a rifle at them.
