British flight attendant accused of smuggling £1.2 million worth of synthetic cannabis in Sri Lanka.

A 21-year-old British flight attendant, Charlotte May Lee, appeared in a Sri Lankan court accused of smuggling 46 kg of synthetic cannabis, valued at £1.2 million. Lee, formerly a TUI air stewardess, claims she was set up by an unidentified British man of Pakistani origin. She faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted and will appear in court again in two weeks.
