Study finds certain plant-based diets may reverse biological aging in men by over two years.
A new study from the University of Washington suggests that consuming certain plant-based foods may help slow biological aging in middle-aged men.
Over eight weeks, participants who followed a diet rich in colorful vegetables, leafy greens, seeds, and "methyl adaptogens" like turmeric, rosemary, garlic, berries, green tea, and oolong tea experienced a reduction in their biological age by more than two years.
The researchers noted that the benefits came from the foods themselves, not from weight loss.
