A 13-year-old boy died after falling from a parade trailer during Green, Ohio's Memorial Day parade on May 26, 2025. The boy, a student at North Canton City Schools, fell from the front of a trailer being pulled by a pickup truck and suffered severe injuries. Green firefighters rushed him to Akron Children’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Summit County Sheriff's Office and Summit Metro Crash team are investigating the incident.
