On May 27, 2025, an explosion occurred at a chemical workshop in Gaomi, Shandong province, China, at noon. The Ministry of Emergency Management has dispatched a team including firefighters, medical experts, and work safety specialists to aid in rescue efforts, with 232 firefighters sent to the scene.
