Woman rescued from Chestnut Ridge Park trail after hip injury; 19 similar calls reported in past year.

A 61-year-old Maryland woman was rescued after injuring her hip on the Eternal Flame Trail at Chestnut Ridge Park in Buffalo, NY. The Erie County Sheriff's Office, along with EMTs, assisted in her extraction and transport to ECMC for treatment. This incident is one of 19 first aid and rescue calls the park has seen in the past year.
