Germany plans to fully equip its military by 2029 to boost defense and NATO commitments.

Germany's Chief of Defence, Carsten Breuer, has ordered the military to be fully equipped with weapons and material by 2029. This expansion aims to bolster Germany's defense and NATO commitments by strengthening air defenses, enhancing deep precision strikes, replenishing ammunition, and advancing electronic warfare and space capabilities. Funding will come from relaxed fiscal rules.
