Nigeria to inaugurate three major cancer centers, a big step in cancer care investment.
The Nigerian government plans to inaugurate three cancer centers in Katsina, Nsukka, and Benin on May 29, marking the country's largest investment in cancer care.
These centers aim to treat about 2,000 cancer patients and serve 350,000 diagnostic clients annually.
Over the next three years, they will also train up to 500 clinicians, forming the first phase of West Africa's largest oncology and diagnostic network.
