London fox cub rescued, cleaned after getting coated in bitumen; hospital calls case "horrific."

A London fox cub was rescued after getting coated in bitumen and stuck to a road. Found initially in a container of bitumen at an industrial estate, the cub was cleaned over three days using baby oil and WD-40. The cub is being monitored for toxicity and leg damage. The South Essex Wildlife Hospital, which handled the case, described it as one of the most horrific in their 35+ years of operation.
